When a woman goes in for her annual PAP smear, the doctor is doing a test for human papillomavirus which can cause cervical cancer. HPV (human papillomavirus) is also the virus that causes genital warts. We have all watched the media campaign promoting the HPV vaccine in girls. HPV, for the first time, has been identified in the head of sperm cells . The infected sperm has decreased motility - it moves slower. This has fertility implications. (more…)
When choosing an infertility treatment option, your doctor may decide that you should consider taking fertility shots. You can take fertility shots in preparation for an IUI (intrauterine insemination) or in preparation for IVF (in vitro fertilization).
